The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, August 2, 2012, of Ferdie LeClair, a veteran of the Second World War, and the beloved husband of Joyce LeClair, of North Rustico, age 89. Joseph Andrew LeClair

1922 - 2014
It is with great sadness and a profound sense of love that our family announces the passing of our truly amazing patriarch at the QueenElizabethHospital, Charlottetown on Sunday May 3, 2014.He was ready to meet his Maker and the Lord mercifully took him into his arms and eased his suffering.

He was the son of "Double A" and Ida LeClair. Survived by his sister Stephanie (Carl) Bradley, his wife Doris (Lund), and children David (Holly), Valerie (Wayne) Handren, Stephen (Mariel), Wade (Debbie), Cynthia (David) Doiron and Lori (Andrew) Graham. Dad had nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

His passing truly marks the end of an era and each member of his extended family will forever cherish their loving memories of the times spent with him.

He was a World War II Naval veteran and served in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters of war, and was a recipient of the Veteran Recognition Award for his service. Both Dad and Mom had been extremely active Legion committee members.

He was a compassionate man who possessed incredible "joie de vie". His talents were extensive including, ball player, hockey player, cribbage player, fly fisherman extraordinaire, and oyster ball maker. He was above all a family man who was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Tuesday, May 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer on Wednesday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown

Leonard Joseph LeClair

2016
Passed peacefully Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Prince Edward Home of Leonard LeClair of Charlottetown, age 98 years. 

Beloved husband of the late Lucy LeClair (nee Gallant) and loving father of Karen Lavoie (Andre), Paula Dorsey (David), Shawn LeClair, Frances Lavoie (Paul), Lorne LeClair (Doreen), Norman LeClair (Cathy), Jeannine McQuaid (Eddie) and son-in-law Daryl Harding. Leonard will be lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Prosper and Julie LeClair, daughter, Julie Harding, granddaughter, Colette Lavoie; and siblings - Vincent, Reuben, Arthur, Cyrus, Clarence, Alice, Ferdie, Zilda, Eugene, Francis and Eric. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Friday, February 26, 2016 from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer at 10 AM. Interment will take place at the Stella Maris Cemetery, North Rustico. 

The Royal Canadian Legion, Charlottetown Branch #1 will hold a tribute service prior to visiting hours at 3:45 PM.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.

John Edmund "Jackie" Lee

1936 - 2012
With his loving family by his side on Saturday, May 19, 2012 John Edmund Lee Jr. “Jackie” passed away peacefully into the waiting hands of god after a brief illness.

John will lovingly be remembered and forever cherished by his wife Noreen (nee Baglole) and his five children Billy (Maggie), Karen (Ricky) Arsenault, Marie (Gerard) MacLeod, Mary (Gary) Trainor and Patty (Stephen) Davies.

Beloved Poppy of Shannon, Willie, Ashton, Jason, Amanda, Jennifer, Michael, Cathy, Kelly, Patty, Joshua, Hannah and Other Poppy to Alex, Thatcher, Adrian, Koby, Ella, Hannah and Olivia.

Brother of George (Marion), Kay Murnaghan, Bernice Martin, Irene Gallant, Valerie Maund and brother-in-law of Cecil Kervin.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret (Weeks) Lee, stepmother Elizabeth, infant son Leonard, sisters Phyllis, Margaret and Florence.

Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Holy Redeemer Knights of Columbus will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. All brother Knights spouses and partners are welcome. Charlottetown Branch#1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a tribute service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.

Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home on Saturday, March 31, 2012 of Mr. Andrew G. Leslie of Charlottetown, age 86 years. 

Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Peters) Leslie, and dear father of Anne (Allan) MacPhee of Winsloe, Karen (Jamie) Younker of Winsloe, and Paula (Paul) Balderston of Cornwall. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Kayla, Jeremy and Jennifer Balderston, Joshua and Jacob MacPhee, Danielle, Laura and Bradley Younker, his sisters Elda Whelan (Frank deceased), Sr. Lauretta Leslie CSM, Martha MacDonald (Leonard dec.), brother Harold (Helen) Leslie, sisters-in-law Mary Lou, Zilla and Inez Leslie. 

He was also predeceased by his infant son Peter, brothers Jack, Hugh, Aiden, Sandy, Matt, and sisters Catherine and Gordia.

Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Thursday, February 23, 2017, of Alfred C. Livingstone of Charlottetown and formerly of Dartmouth, NS, age 95 years. Husband of the late Eunice Clattenburg. Loving father of Carolyn (Ray) Murphy and Randy (Debbie) Livingstone. Grampie to Jeff (Vanessa) Murphy, Ryan (Nichole) Murphy and Poppie to Selina (Stephen) Burdon. Great-grampie to Conor, Ciaran, Maren, Brendan and Ronan Murphy and Maelynn, Jacob and Cooper Burdon. Survived by sister Mary Richard, brother-in-law Preston MacLeod and sister-in-law Sylvia Clattenburg. Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Selina Livingstone, brothers Alex, Monty, Lloyd and sister Anne.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment later in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Walter Joseph "Bud" Lund

1926 - 2013
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday , June 4th, 2013 of Mr Walter J. "Bud" Lund (Veteran of The Second World War) of Charlottetown age 87 Years. Beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Chapell) Lund and dear father of George (Jan ) Lund, Jamie (Gaylene) Lund, Karen (Lloyd ) White, Sandra (Michael) Penkala, Marvin (Carol) Lund and Dawn (Kevin ) Bowen. He is also survived by 15 loving grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother Victor (Joy) Lund; sister-in-law Gloria (Dailus) Gauthier and brother-in-law Robert Gallant. 
He was predeceased by his parents Pearl and Walter Lund; sisters, Dorothy Larter and Audrey O’Connor, and grandson Jeremy Lund. 
Bud was very active all his life in many sports, he was the Empire Chief for PEI Softball for 35 years and was inducted into the Softball Hall of fame, he had an extensive boxing career winning over 90 professional fights, he won several Masters curling tournaments, along with a Canadian Legion Championship, but I think his greatest love was for the game of Golf.

William Bernard MacAulay

1930 - 2013
Peacefully at the QueenElizabethHospital on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 of Mr. Wm. B. “Bill” MacAulay, of Park West Lodge and formerly of Cardigan, age 82 years.
Special friend of Arlene Gallant and loving father of Larry (Cheri), Derek (Jill), Wayne (Erica), Rodney (Synthia), and their mother Viola MacAulay.
He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Alyson, Haydyn, Emma and Lucy, sister-in-law Anne MacAulay.
Predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Carol MacAulay, and brothers Francis, Sterling, Lem, Alphonse and Hubert.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m.

A. Francis (Frank) MacDonald

1925 - 2010
Surrounded by his family at Whisperwood Villa on April 6, 2010, of Mr. A. Francis (Frank) MacDonald in his 85th year. 
Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Hughes). Father of Paula (Frank Likely), Mark (Dr. Joanne MacDonald), Austin (Kathleen Andrews), Leah (Gary Kilbride) and Lorena. Grandfather of Jason, Dara, David, Charlotte, Hannah, Stephen and Zachary. Predeceased by his parents, May and Charlie MacDonald; and his brothers, Bill and Howard. 
He was born at the Charlottetown Hospital on the day of its official opening, was educated at Queen Square School and St. Dunstan's College, served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and worked for CN for 39 years. 
He was an active and generous community and church volunteer, a life long member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Knights of Columbus and served as Village Commissioner and Chairman of the Parkdale Village Commission in the village's early years. 
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 12:45 on Friday afternoon, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. 
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Loving grandfather of Angela Stewart (Kirk), Ryan Herlihy (Judy), Wayde MacDonald (Angela), Lori Ann Dowling, Ambyr MacDonald (Daryl Ashby), Nathan MacDonald (Dawn Marie), Tim Gass (Sandra Dennis), Jamie Gass, by 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Vera Campbell and Wilma MacDonald. Gordon J (Buddy) MacDonald

1927 - 2012
The death occurred at the QueenElizabethHospital on Saturday, November 24, 2012 of Mr. Gordon J. “Buddy” MacDonald of Charlottetown, age 85 years. 

Left to Mourn are his children Donna White (Emmett), Sharon Moores (Ed), Darlene MacDonald, Marel McKay (Shaun), Gordie (Candace), Deanna Bowtle (Steve), Sylvanus Joseph “Syl”-deceased and their mother Margaret Shields (Reg). He is also survived by his brothers Billy (Marylou) and Syl (Sandra-deceased); sisters, Elsie MacDonald, Ruth Brown and Sheila Guay (Mike); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents Hubert “Alec” and Alice “Bessie” MacDonald; brother, John E. “Johnny” (Bernice); sisters, Elizabeth “Betty”, Helen “Daisy”, Gertrude “Gerty”, Edna, Edie, Dorothy and Catherine “Kay”.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visitation on Monday 6 - 8 p.m. then transferred to Dingwell Funeral Home, Souris for visitation on Tuesday 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Brother of Elizabeth “Ippie” MacDonald of Kamloops, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Burt, Lester and Edwin. Special uncle of Barry and Roberta MacDonald (Sean Hennessey).
