1926 - 2020
JUDSON, Winston "Judd" Peacefully at the Mount Continuing Care Community on Monday, February 10, 2020 of Winston Judson of Charlottetown, Veteran of the Second World War age 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Blanchard) Judson and dear father of Beverly (Ray) McBride, Brenda (Paul) Mott, Bob (Cindy), Michael. Andy (predeceased) (Pauline), Ronnie (Kelly), Laurie Jane (predeceased) and Richie (Karen). Proud Juddie of Robin Goss, Kellie Cash, Darcy Ingersoll, Shawn Mott, Leigh-Ann Locke, Malcolm Brett Judson, Michael Judson, Mark Martin, Katie Melanson, Stevie Judson, Jon Liubicich, Jessy Judson, Jacob Judson, Justin Driscoll, Avery Judson, Evan Judson and Seth Judson and of fourteen great grandchildren. Judd will also be lovingly remembered by his brother Ken (Marion) Judson and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Annie Judson and siblings Minnie, Dewar, Rheta, Irene, Art and Dorothy. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Arlene (Nee Roberts) Kickham
1933 - 2013
Suddenly on February 9, 2013 in her 80th year she passed away with her daughter Shelley by her side. She is gone home to meet her maker. She is now free of illness and pain. Arlene was the wife of the late Joseph Kickham (2011), and the late Joseph McIntosh (1974). She was also predeceased by her parents James and Winnifred Roberts and her daughter Rosemarie McIntosh (1976).
Mother of Wendy (Marc) Robichaud, Shelley McIntosh (Gabriel Walsh), Dan (Bonnie) McIntosh, and Jim (Sheila) McIntosh. Stepmother of Karen McGuigan (Wayne Hogan) and Terry Kickham. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Sister of Pearl (Jim) McNabb, the late Clarence (Joyce), Bob (Mary), the late Frankie (Mickey), Bev (Chester) Culligan, the late George (Juanita), Carl (Marjorie), and the late Fred Roberts. Sister-in-law of Edna (Harold) French, Marie (John) MacInnis and Margaret (Gilles) Marcoux. Arlene will be fondly remembered by Audrey Doyle, Judy Gallant and many nieces and nephews.

Thompson “Tommy” Knox
1921 - 2018

Peacefully, with two of his daughters by his side, the death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, of Thompson Irvine Knox, age 96.
Born in Irvinestown, Northern Ireland, on November 1, 1921, Tommy immigrated to PEI in 1927 with his parents William and Eliza, later taking up residence at Knox's Dam where many happy memories were made. Tommy served as a gunner with the 8th battery, C troop, 2nd Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery in Europe from 1941 until the end of WWII. Tommy married Lorna Jean Watts of York, PEI, in 1947. They settled in Sherwood and their house on Maple Avenue became home to nine children: George (Cathy), Linda, Billy (Elizabeth), Karen (Ken), Bethany, Mary (deceased) (Bob), Edwin (Alice), Dianne (John) and Sherilyn (Naomi). Tommy had sixteen grandchildren: Matthew, Jesse, Keturah, Laura, Melissa, Robin, Erin, Jamie, Meghan, Bethany, Claire, Katelyn, Georgie, Sean, Alissa and Eric, as well as sixteen great grandchildren. Tommy is survived by his sister Lilly (John, deceased), brother Richard (Janet) and sister-in-law Ethel. He is predeceased by his siblings Isabella (John), Robert and James. After returning from overseas Tommy began working for Maritime Electric where he was employed until his retirement in 1986. Tommy was a man well-known for his marvelous sense of humour, a large smile, hearty laugh and a sensitive spirit. His jokes were shared with friend and stranger alike and cheered up many people along his path. Tommy was an avid fisherman and a superb gardener. Being a generous man, the fruits of his labour were also shared with many. Tommy was a member of Park Royal United Church, the Masonic Lodge (Victoria Lodge #2 and Alexandra Chapter #11) and the Royal Canadian Legion. For the past eight and a half years Tommy was a resident at the Garden Home Long Term Care Facility, which he always referred to as his “Home Away from Home.” He was blessed with contentment and deep gratitude for the wonderful care he received on a daily basis.
Tommy’s family would like to thank the Garden Home staff and the QEH emergency department staff for their compassionate care in their father’s final hours.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Park Royal United Church on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pat and the Elephant.

At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 of Daniel “Don” Lamey, Charlottetown, age 82 years. Don proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 30 years. Dear father of Herb Lamey (Tracey), Rick Lamey, Judy Warren (Kevin), Mark Lamey (Sharleen) and Lisa Doiron (Garth). Step-father of Colleen Patterson. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Survived by five sisters and three brothers. Predeceased by his wife Constance “Connie” (Power) and three brothers and one sister. It is with great sadness and a profound sense of love that our family announces the passing of our truly amazing patriarch at the QueenElizabethHospital, Charlottetown on Sunday May 3, 2014.He was ready to meet his Maker and the Lord mercifully took him into his arms and eased his suffering.
He was the son of "Double A" and Ida LeClair. Survived by his sister Stephanie (Carl) Bradley, his wife Doris (Lund), and children David (Holly), Valerie (Wayne) Handren, Stephen (Mariel), Wade (Debbie), Cynthia (David) Doiron and Lori (Andrew) Graham. Dad had nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
His passing truly marks the end of an era and each member of his extended family will forever cherish their loving memories of the times spent with him.
He was a World War II Naval veteran and served in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters of war, and was a recipient of the Veteran Recognition Award for his service. Both Dad and Mom had been extremely active Legion committee members.
He was a compassionate man who possessed incredible "joie de vie". His talents were extensive including, ball player, hockey player, cribbage player, fly fisherman extraordinaire, and oyster ball maker. He was above all a family man who was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him.

Beloved husband of the late Lucy LeClair (nee Gallant) and loving father of Karen Lavoie (Andre), Paula Dorsey (David), Shawn LeClair, Frances Lavoie (Paul), Lorne LeClair (Doreen), Norman LeClair (Cathy), Jeannine McQuaid (Eddie) and son-in-law Daryl Harding. Leonard will be lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home on Saturday, March 31, 2012 of Mr. Andrew G. Leslie of Charlottetown, age 86 years.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Peters) Leslie, and dear father of Anne (Allan) MacPhee of Winsloe, Karen (Jamie) Younker of Winsloe, and Paula (Paul) Balderston of Cornwall. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Kayla, Jeremy and Jennifer Balderston, Joshua and Jacob MacPhee, Danielle, Laura and Bradley Younker, his sisters Elda Whelan (Frank deceased), Sr. Lauretta Leslie CSM, Martha MacDonald (Leonard dec.), brother Harold (Helen) Leslie, sisters-in-law Mary Lou, Zilla and Inez Leslie.
He was also predeceased by his infant son Peter, brothers Jack, Hugh, Aiden, Sandy, Matt, and sisters Catherine and Gordia.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
